Welded Ductwork Header

Latest Technology

Considering all of the advances being made in manufacturing technology, making the right investments in our production equipment and employees is a big part of our ability to provide quality HVAC system material, including ductwork, fittings, mounting materials and protective equipment components to industry standard or better at commercial scale.

This means that our Precision Iowa Coil Line is dedicated to your rectangular duct and the finishing you specify, whether it is raw edge slip and drive uninsulated, or perforated double wall with closed-cell liner and 1 ½” TDC rolled flange.  All of our spiral duct and non-gasketed, gore-locked spiral fittings are manufactured in-house. Cut-to-length service is available and custom spiral duct is fabricated to specification. 10′ lengths and gasketed fittings are stocked.

Our forward-thinking CAM platform includes capability to directly accept and upload your DXF files. Custom grilles, mounting plates and stainless angles are either cut by laser or plasma, punched, beveled, formed and assembled to the specifications you provide and CAD representations of your components are maintained for automated production and consistent repeatability.

Phoenix Metals’ professional, certified welders are skilled in MIG/TIG and specialized techniques developed to address industry requirement standards, in addition to operating automated seam welding machinery that is designed to join rectangular and round duct component ends off-edge, which reduces leakage potential and enables wall-facing seams for improving the aesthetic of exposed systems.

Testimonial

“Ten years ago Professional Mechanical was at a crossroad. We had the capability of handling larger projects, with the exception of our shop fabrication, being manual, keeping up with the ever increasing speed of project schedules. Since then our continuing relationship with Phoenix Metals enables us to consider all types and sizes of projects. Their knowledge of SMACNA requirements and unwavering desire to service their customers sets them apart from all other fabrication shops.”
